I’ve learnt this phrase a long time ago and it has been carved in my brain and soul ever since. Just those two Latin words changed the way I perceive life. Whenever things seem to be falling apart around me I remember my highschool philosophy class. I might not have agreed a lot with my professor back then due to my religious beliefs but I surely learnt a lot. Carpe Diem, which means to live every day to its fullest, to seize what you have because you might not get tomorrow, is the way I’ve decided to live my life from now on. This attempt of writing on a cake using frosting is a small gesture to celebrate my new decision. As I cut this cake, my new life begins.
